Each ship in the simulator is equipped with an anchor. The anchor can be controlled with the keyboard, refer to the key chart for details about the keys. (On most keyboards the "a" and "y" keys control the achor winch. With "y" lowering the anchor and "a" lifting the anchor.
Currently the seabead is defined at 6 m depth. As in the real world, there is no indicator of how much chain you have laid out but the winch operates at a speed of aproximately 0.5 m per second.
